Aroldis Chapman Records 30th Save
3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman notched his 30th save of the season in Sunday's win over the Red Sox. Chapman had to work a bit, as he needed 20 pitches to navigate the ninth inning, though he got a five-pitch strikeout to end the game. The hard-throwing lefty became just the ninth reliever in baseball to reach the 30-save mark this season. Chapman has posted a 2.70 ERA with a 38.4 percent strikeout rate since the start of August. The veteran closer remains a strong relief option as fantasy managers head into their final matchups.
