Aroldis Chapman Picks Up 27th Save
3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman notched his 27th save of the year in Wednesday's victory over the Orioles. It was one of Chapman's easiest innings of the year, as he needed just eight pitches, seven of which went for strikes en route to a pair of punchouts. The hard-throwing lefty has been excellent over his last four appearances, pitching 3 2/3 scoreless frames while racking up seven strikeouts compared to just one walk. It hasn't always been pretty for Chapman this year, but he ranks 10th in saves and fifth in strikeout rate, making him a dependable fantasy closer at the most important time of the year in fantasy baseball.
