Aroldis Chapman Picks Up 25th Save
3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman notched his 25th save of the season in Wednesday's win over the Angels. Chapman needed just 11 pitches to work an easy ninth, firing eight for strikes and picking up a strikeout in the process. The lefty has righted the ship since the league's crackdown on sticky substances, as he endured an awful June but has rebounded since, allowing just six runs over his last 15 1/3 innings with a 24:12 strikeout-to-walk ratio and nine saves. Chapman remains a top-10 fantasy closer as the regular season shifts to the final month.
