2 years agoNew York Yankees reliever Aroldis Chapman was placed on the 15-day IL on Saturday after a recent tattoo on his leg developed an infection. It's hard to know how long the 34-year-old will be sidelined after this bizarre occurrence, but it's almost a certainty now that he won't be able to reclaim the ninth inning role with the club by season's end. Between an injury to his ankle and struggling to a 4.70 ERA and 1.43 WHIP through 36 appearances, Chapman has proved to be one of the biggest reliever disappointments of the season with this latest incident only adding fuel to the fire.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
