Aroldis Chapman Allows A Run, Earns Save
Aroldis Chapman faced his first save situation tonight in Toronto. With the Yankees holding a 4-1 lead, Chapman struck out the first two batters, seemingly on the verge of an uneventful appearance. Then, however, he allowed a pair of doubles, scoring a run and cutting the lead to two. Chapman remained composed, however, striking out the final batter to complete a three-strikeout inning and earn the save. While the run scored may not look neat, Chapman had a successful inning, with his strikeout stuff at top level.
