Arodys Vizcaino Weeks Ways From Throwing Activities
6 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) is a few weeks away from resuming throwing activities, according to manager Brian Snitker. Atlanta still believes Vizcaino will return this year, but they might just be being optimistic. Vizcaino hasn't pitched in a game since July 11 and doesn't appear at all close to returning. He was sporting a nice 1.65 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 15 saves, but he's not a must-hold in shallower leagues. A.J. Minter remains the best bet for saves in Atlanta's bullpen, although Dan Winkler and Brad Brach could mix in, too.
