Armani Rogers Suffers Achilles Injury
1 year agoWashington Commanders tight end Armani Rogers (Achilles) suffered a non-contact Achilles injury during organized team activities on Tuesday, and there is no timetable for his return. Non-contact injuries are usually never good, so there's a chance Rogers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury. The 25-year-old played in his first NFL season in 2022 in Washington and caught just five of six targets for 64 yards in 11 games played (three starts). If he avoided a serious Achilles injury, Rogers is expected to compete for a roster spot as tight end depth behind Logan Thomas and John Bates. We'll have an update on his condition as soon we know more.
