Arizona Cardinals Defense Not Worth Starting In Week 3
1 year agoThe Arizona Cardinals defense will have their work cut out for them in Week 3 as the 2-0 Dallas Cowboys come to town. The Cardinals have the 22nd-ranked passing defense and have allowed at least one passing touchdown in each of the first two games. With star safety Budda Baker (hamstring) currently on injured reserve, there is even more pressure on the Cardinals to stop Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott and the Cowboys' offensive attack. In addition to stopping the pass, the Cardinals rank slightly below average (18th) against the run and will need to bottle up Dallas running back Tony Pollard to keep the game close. That seems like it might be too tall of a task, so it's best to leave the Cardinals' defense on the waiver wire for this week.
