3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Aristides Aquino is starting in right field and batting second in the team's season opener against left-hander Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves on Thursday. Nick Senzel and Tommy Pham are rounding out the starting outfield for the team with Tyler Naquin starting the season on the bench. The right-handed Aquino had a rough year in 2021, slashing just .190/.299/.408 over 84 games, but he still put together a sturdy 14.5% barrel rate. He has legit 30 home run potential if he can stay in the lineup and keep the strikeouts down, but those are both pretty big ifs at this point.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
