1 year agoAric Almirola will begin the Coca-Cola 600 from 23rd at Charlotte. Almirola and his Stewart-Haas Racing car have not finished inside the top ten over the past four races on the intermediate track. His best finish during that span is 15th. However, his worst result is 22nd. So, in a way, it makes sense Almirola starts where he is. After three DNF's in his first five races, the Ford driver has one top ten in 13 appearances.
