4 years agoStewart-Haas Racing's Aric Almirola finished 10th in Sunday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Before the green flag even dropped, Almirola dealt with brake issues, but it didn't stop him from leading early laps after starting on the pole. Unfortunately, on Almirola's first pit stop of the day, he committed a blend line violation, re-joining the race track off pit road, prematurely. After some time, Almirola climbed his way back into contention, getting up as high as third. Almirola's No. 10 was one of the strongest cars on the day, but he would fall victim to a late-race caution that pinned him a lap down. Despite the disappointing finish, Almirola collected his seventh-straight top-10 and will look to continue his momentum at Kansas.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
