3 years agoAric Almirola has three top-10 results this season. As a result, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver begins Sunday from the 10th position at Atlanta. Almirola was right in contention at Daytona, but for him, Atlanta seems like a different animal. His initial speed was just not there. Ticking off greater than 31-second laps was troubling for the No. 10 Ford. During his lap intervals, Almirola's overall speed did not tail off as much, though. It's anyone's guess how his Ford will do on runs of more than 20 laps. It is that uncertainty that is most concerning, as he could lose position easily.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
