Antonio Gibson Totals 47 Scoreless Yards In Week 9
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson had 11 carries for 36 yards along with two receptions for 11 yards during Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. After a couple of productive performances in Weeks 7 and 8, the third-year pro took a step back in Week 9. He lost the usage in the passing game that was seen last week while continuing to struggle on the ground. The Washington backfield was also a near 50/50 split, with rookie Brian Robinson and Gibson being less than efficient. With the backfield being split, and neither option jumping ahead of the other, Gibson should be viewed as a low-end play from now on.
