Antonio Gibson Scores Two Touchdowns In Week 5
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (shin) was questionable going into Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints. He was able to suit up for the game and he went on to deliver his best fantasy output of the year so far. He rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries and also caught both of his targets in the passing game for 12 yards. He significantly outperformed the team's No. 2 back J.D. McKissic, who caught just one of his four targets for eight yards and had negative two rushing yards. Gibson should be viewed as a high-end RB2 or even a low-end RB1 going forward. He has a great matchup next week against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have been bludgeoned by the run so far. Going into this week, they were averaging 146 rushing yards allowed per game, the second-most in the league.
