Antonio Gibson Salvages Bad Game With Late Touchdown
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson had 12 carries for 38 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The third-year pro was the victim of a second straight negative game script as Washington again fell behind quickly in the first half. This Washington offense is already pass-happy, but once they get behind, there will be little production from the running game. Luckily for fantasy managers, Gibson scored another late touchdown to make his scoring output more mediocre than terrible. With the Commanders taking on a less imposing Dallas Cowboys team in Week 4, Gibson could be in line for a better performance as an RB2 for fantasy.
