Antonio Gibson Puts Up 76 Scrimmage Yards In Week 9 Win
1 year agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson had six carries for 34 yards along with five receptions for 42 yards during Sunday's win over the New England Patriots. Despite not having high expectations heading into this matchup, Gibson managed to play a big role in the success of Washington's offense during Week 9. With 11 total touches, there's at least a chance that the fourth-year back sees more work going forward. However, he's been an up-and-down player for most of his career, so it's best to be a little realistic with his outlook. With an upcoming matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10, Gibson has the potential to be a decent fill-in option at running back.
