Los Angeles Chargers tight end Antonio Gates got a surprise moment in the sun last week when he ripped the Broncos for 80 yards and a touchdown on five receptions, but fantasy owners should probably treat it as a fluke for now. While the performance was wonderful to see for historical reasons, Gates had only recorded four receptions in his previous four games combined, and it took him six previous games to tally up 80 yards. The touchdown was also his first in seven weeks. The sneak attack certainly worked against Denver, but it's highly unlikely that it's a sign of things to come.
