6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Antonio Gates was a late addition to the squad, but according to teammates, he's getting back into the swing of it. Gates played 33 snaps in the team's Week 1 game against the Chiefs and snagged a pair of balls thrown his way, but quarterback Philip Rivers said in practice on Friday that Gates handled the workload without a problem and his confidence in Gates has now been built. Gates may be ancient, but he's still a constant red-zone threat to vulture touchdowns, and there should be plenty of red-zone opportunities in Week 2 against Buffalo.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
