Antonio Brown’s Agent Plays Down Helmet Saga
5 years agoIn response to general manager Mike Mayock’s “all-in or all-out” statement Sunday, Drew Rosenhaus, the agent of Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown, made a statement of his own. “To say that AB is upset about the decision to not let him wear his helmet is accurate, but we’re still processing it and figuring it out. I wouldn’t make too much about him not being there today.” The fact that Brown himself hasn’t issued a statement regarding this issue is a bit concerning, but Rosenhaus later said: "I do think he’s going to be back soon.” However long “soon” will take truly is a question mark, and the fact remains that Brown has yet to practice with the team in three weeks. The murkiness of this situation makes the veteran a player to fade with his off-field issues continuing to pile up.
