Boston Bruins goaltender Anton Khudobin will start on Thursday night against the Florida Panthers. Khudobin has been solid as Boston’s No. 2 netminder this season, going 6-3-0 in his last nine games played. The Panthers have been on the rise since Jan. 30, posting a 15-5-0 record in that time and scoring at least three goals in their last 10 games. Florida’s offense should certainly be a challenge for Khudobin and the Bruins defense, especially with Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara (upper body) missing the match due to injury. The 31-year-old netminder should see increased playing time through the end of the season as the Bruins attempt to rest top goalie Tuukka Rask in preparation for the playoffs. Khudobin carries a 15-5-4 record this season with a 2.48 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.--Alex McKenzie
