Anthony Volpe Swipes Two Bags, Logs Three Hits In Win
7 months agoNew York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe had an excellent game in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. He went 3-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases in Sunday's victory. Volpe is off to a scorching hot start to the season, slashing .424/.486/.606 with three stolen bases while plating nine runs over nine games. A breakout season is on the horizon for Volpe, as he is making better contact and striking out less thus far in 2024. Fantasy managers can expect Volpe to steal bases and plate runs for a loaded New York Yankees offense. Look for Volpe to continue his hot hitting in a three-game series against a weakened Miami Marlins rotation starting Monday.
