Anthony Schwartz Faces Uphill Battle To Make The Team
1 year agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Anthony Schwartz is facing an uphill battle to make the team during training camp this year with Marquise Goodwin taking over as the vertical stretch receiver, but Schwartz's blazing speed gives him a puncher's chance. If Schwartz can improve his route-running, hands and toughness, he could make a case for himself. General manager Andrew Berry doesn't like to part with his draft picks, but Schwartz has struggled emotionally and physically and must prove he can handle the demands of the NFL. The 22-year-old has worked hard this offseason, though, and looked solid in organized team activities and minicamp. He caught just four of 10 targets for 51 yards and no touchdowns in 2022.
