Anthony Richardson Throws One TD, Rushes For Another In Week 16 Win
1 min agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson was responsible for two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-30 win over the Titans, rushing for one and throwing for another in the contest. The 22-year-old was asked to throw just 11 times with Jonathan Taylor running wild for 218 yards on the Tennessee defense. As a result, Richardson was able to complete over 50% of his passes for just the second time this season, going 7-for-11 for 131 yards and a 1:1 TD:INT. Taylor wasn't the only one to see success on the ground, as Richardson rushed nine times for 70 yards as well. Week 17 brings another favorable matchup for the former first-round draft pick, with the Colts taking on the Giants. Indy is still alive in the AFC playoff race, so look for a similar game plan next week where the second-year pro likely doesn't offer much production through the air but provides a decent floor with his legs as the Colts try to stay in contention, leaving him as a volatile QB2 next Sunday.
