Anthony Rendon Out Monday With Left Shoulder Soreness
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (shoulder) was a late scratch on Monday against the Nationals, as the Angels announced that he was dealing with left shoulder soreness. Rendon was hit by a Jordan Romano fastball in the ninth inning of Sunday's 12-11 loss to the Blue Jays. Hopefully, this will simply be a day-to-day situation for the veteran, who has dealt with a number of issues over the past several seasons. He has gotten off to a slow start this season, slashing .231/.353/.231 in 17 plate appearances while also serving a four-game suspension.
