Anthony Miller Expected To Play In Week 2
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Anthony Miller (shoulder) is expected to suit up for his team's Week 2 contest against the Browns. The former Bear was able to practice last week but was inactive on game day, as the team was being cautious with his health after he dislocated his shoulder during the team's first preseason game. Miller's return complicates the Texans receiver room even more- as he, Danny Amendola, Chris Conley, and Nico Collins will all be competing for targets as the secondary pass-catchers behind Brandin Cooks. Cooks will make for a solid WR2/3 coming off of a 132-yard effort in Week 1. Amendola is probably the best bet to emerge as another option for Tyrod Taylor in the short term, though he can't be started with any confidence in Week 2.
