Anthony McFarland Jr. Scores In Preseason Opener
1 year agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Anthony McFarland Jr. handled three carries for 18 yards and a touchdown as well as one reception for five yards in a 27-17 preseason victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McFarland took over for Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren after Pittsburgh's first offensive drive and displayed impressive burst on his 14-yard score in the second quarter. The 25-year-old is unlikely to carve out a significant role for himself this season but has been performing well in camp and seems to have a hold on the team's RB3 spot. McFarland will remain off of the fantasy radar as long as Harris and Warren are healthy.
