Anthony Mantha To Undergo Season-Ending Knee Surgery
1 week agoCalgary Flames right wing Anthony Mantha (knee) will miss the rest of the season. The team announced on Monday that Mantha is set to have an ACL surgery this week. Mantha joined the Flames as a free agent on a one-year deal in the summer and looked promising through his first outings with the team. In 13 appearances, Mantha amassed four goals and three assists with 16 hits and a plus-six rating. He was injured on Nov. 5 against Montreal. Kevin Rooney has replaced Mantha in the lineup. He scored his first goal of the campaign in Monday's 3-1 win over Los Angeles, but Rooney has a limited role on the team and doesn't provide value for fantasy managers.
