Anthony Mantha Set For Capitals Debut Versus Flyers
4 years agoWashington Capitals winger Anthony Mantha will make his team debut in Tuesday's home game against Philadelphia. The 26-year-old is slated to skate with Nicklas Backstrom and T.J. Oshie on the team's second line. Mantha had 11 goals and 21 points for Detroit in 42 games before he was traded on Monday. The 26-year-old finds him in a great spot to perform in Washington and should be snapped up by fantasy managers if he's available. Mantha looks set to be on the second power-play unit as well in his debut. Ilya Samsonov, who has a perfect 3-0-0 record against the Flyers this season, will start in goal.
