Anthony Edwards Ties Career High With 42 Points
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards had it going on all night against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, finishing a 139-135 loss with a game-high 42 points. It's the second 42-point outing of his rookie campaign. Edwards shot 17-for-22 from the field and went an amazing 8-for-9 with the three-ball. He also delivered seven assists and picked up six rebounds with one steal and one block in 38 minutes. The top pick of last year's draft has really come alive during the latter half of the season, and he's now the youngest player ever to sink 150 triples. Edwards needs three more games to break Christian Laettner's franchise record for most 20-point games by a rookie. He has six games to do it, starting with Friday's clash against Miami.
