Anthony Edwards Scores Team-High 29 Points
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards led the team in scoring for the 16th time this season on Thursday, finishing a 114-103 loss to Denver with 29 points on 8-for-16 shooting. He nailed four triples with nine attempts and finished 9-for-12 with his free throws, adding seven rebounds and five assists to his line with two blocks and one turnover. Edwards was very quiet at the start of his rookie campaign, but the first pick of last year's draft has had a solid first season in the league overall with 19.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals.
