Anthony Edwards Has Bounce-Back Performance With 23 Points
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards, who managed only 12 points in Friday's win over Miami, did much better on Sunday against the Clippers, leading the team with 23 points in a 124-105 loss. Karl-Anthony Towns reached 9000 career points with a 16-point effort. Edwards shot below 40 percent from the field for a fifth consecutive game, going 6-for-16, but he did well from downtown with a 5-for-11 effort and went 6-for-7 with his free throws. His night also included six rebounds and three assists with one turnover in 29 minutes. The Timberwolves have a two-game set against Sacramento coming up, which is a matchup DFS managers should definitely target, as both sides play at a high pace but struggle on the defensive end.
