Anthony Edwards Goes Off In Closing Minutes
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards led the team to a nice 102-101 comeback win versus the Knicks on Wednesday, scoring half of his 24 points in the final eight minutes. He finished with 9-for-16 shooting and recorded three assists, three steals, three blocks and two rebounds. Edwards' shooting hasn't been great, but he made big strides in March and ended up averaging 24.2 points per game. He'll try and keep up the form in April, which starts with a battle against the Grizzlies. Memphis owns a good 107.6 defensive efficiency, so this won't be an easy matchup for Edwards, who finished with just two points in this season's first head-to-head clash.
