Anthony DeSclafani Shut Down For "Several Weeks"
1 year agoThe San Francisco Giants have shut down starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (elbow) for "several weeks," according to MLB.com. The right-hander is dealing with a Grade 1 strain in his right forearm, which he sustained in late July. Over 19 appearances (18 starts), DeSclafani owns a 4.88 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 18.9% strikeout rate with a 4-8 record, and already missed time this season with shoulder fatigue. The 33-year-old's value was already limited, and now with this news, fantasy owners in all formats should have no problem letting him go.
