Anthony DeSclafani Expected To Miss Rest Of Season
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants right-hander Anthony DeSclafani (elbow) will receive a platelet-rich plasma injection in his right elbow. He is expected to be shut down from throwing for six to eight weeks. DeSclafani is expected to miss the rest of the season. The 33-year-old has missed a ton of time over the last two seasons with ankle and elbow issues. DeSclafani will finish with a (4-8) record with a 4.88 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 79:20 K: BB across 99 2/3 innings. Unless the Giants go deep into the postseason, DeSclafani should be fully recovered ahead of Spring Training in 2024.
