Anthony Davis Says He'll Play Wednesday
1 year agoLos Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (groin) finished with nine points, six rebounds, four assists, and a block during Monday's loss to the Miami Heat. Davis logged only 25 minutes in this one and was held out in the fourth quarter after experiencing groin discomfort in the first half. Fortunately, the 30-year-old said he will play against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Of course, anything can change before then, so if he doesn't suit up, Christian Wood would likely fill the void in the lineup. Wood has averaged 8.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks this season. Yet, he should surpass those marks if he moves into the starting lineup.
