Anthony Davis Provides A Full Line In Friday's Loss
3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis couldn't save the team from suffering a big home loss against Minnesota on Friday, but he did enjoy a good game from a personal perspective, leading the team with 22 points and adding eight rebounds and two assists to his line with two steals and three blocks. AD shot 7-for-13 from the field and 8-for-10 at the line. Russell Westbrook came through with 20 points on 7-for-11 shooting. The two are dominating the Lakers offense with LeBron James (abdominal strain) out of the picture, and they can have fun against the Spurs in the next matchup on Sunday. Davis put together a big performance in this season's first meeting between the two teams, notching 35 points with 17 rebounds and four blocks in a 125-121 overtime win on Oct. 26.
