Anthony Davis Probable Wednesday Against Kings
8 months agoLos Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (Achilles) is listed as probable for the team's game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Davis has dealt with an Achilles injury, battling soreness quite often this season, but he is one game away from playing his most total games in a season since the New Orleans Pelicans days. Lakers management loves to be cautious with injury tags, so this is an excellent sign of Davis being near 100% heading into a pivotal game for playoff seeding. The nine-time All-Star is averaging a stat-stuffing 24.1 points, 14.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.1 blocks, and 1.5 steals since the All-Star break. Lakers guards D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves also benefit from Davis playing by getting more open looks when opposing teams double him.
