Anthony Davis Leads Pelicans Past Celtics
7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis had his 27th 30-plus point game of the season on Sunday, scoring 34 points on 14-for-24 shooting and helping the team past the Boston Celtics 108-89. AD also delivered another double-double -- his 10th in the last 11 outings -- with 11 rebounds. He now has 43 double-doubles in 63 games this season, trailing only Karl-Anthony Towns, Andre Drummond and Russell Westbrook. The Pelicans face Dallas next, a team that has been slaughtered by big men all year long, so Davis is set for another great game. He's averaged 28.7 points and 10.3 rebounds against them this season.
