1 year agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis scored 13 points in Friday's loss to the Warriors. He added six rebounds, four assists, and a steal. The 30-year-old went 3-for-8 from the field in this one. However, outside of that, he has played well during his three preseason appearances. Davis is coming off a terrific 2022-23 campaign, averaging 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks. He also logged 56 games, his most in the last few years. The Lakers are hoping for an NBA Championship, so the expectations for Davis are high entering the year. His name has already been in the MVP heading into the season, but his fantasy outlook isn't as favorable, considering he's had issues staying on the court throughout his career. There's also been talk about utilizing Davis at the power forward spot, so his three-point percentage needs to improve, or it could negatively impact category participants.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
