Anthony Davis Goes For 33 Points, 11 Rebounds In Season Opener
3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis picked up a nice double-double on opening night, finishing a 121-114 loss to Golden State with 33 points and 11 rebounds. He shot a solid 15-for-26 from the field but struggled from deep with a 1-for-5 effort and from the charity stripe, going 2-for-7. The Brow also collected two assists, two blocks and one steal in 39 minutes of action with zero turnovers. AD had a disappointing year in 2020-21 and couldn't keep himself on the court, logging only 36 games, but he's a beast when healthy and fantasy managers should expect plenty of big double-doubles from him this season. He'll get a revenge game next on Friday as the Lakers host the Suns, who crushed them in the playoffs last season.
