Anthony Davis Exits Tuesday's Matchup Against Cavs
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (illness) won't return to Tuesday's contest versus the Cavaliers. L.A. entered this one having won eight of the last 10 games, with Davis being a major factor in the team's success. However, he lasted only eight minutes before exiting with flu-like symptoms. The 29-year-old has played fantastic this season, averaging a career-high 26.6 points and 12.8 rebounds while adding 2.5 blocks and 1.4 steals. It's certainly possible Davis doesn't play on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. If that's the case, Thomas Bryant may fill the hole in the lineup. Bryant had nine points, four rebounds, and three blocks in his only start in 2022-23, so he's not be a viable replacement for A.D.
