Anthony Bass Locks Down Save For Blue Jays
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Anthony Bass worked a scoreless ninth in the team's 4-1 win over the Nationals on Monday for his first save of the season. The right-hander's only blemish was a two-out single to Trea Turner, who became the first baserunner he's allowed in 3 1/3 innings so far this season. Bass appears to have the manager's favor for the closing gig with Ken Giles landing on the IL, and is worth rostering for that aspect alone in all formats.
