Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr (knee) and offensive lineman Christian Darrisaw (groin) have been ruled out for the Week 1 season-opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. Barr has been bothered by a knee injury since early last month, and he played in just two games last year due to a torn pectoral muscle. The 29-year-old made the Pro Bowl four straight seasons from 2015-2018, but the Vikings need to get him healthy if they want to turn around their disastrous defensive fortunes from a year ago. In 2019, Barr had a career-high 79 tackles (54 solo), seven QB hits, 1.5 sacks, one interception and a fumble recovery in 14 starts. The Vikings were one of the worst defenses in the NFL last year, so fantasy managers shouldn't be in any kind of rush to roster them.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
