Another Missed Practice For Josh Jacobs
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (quadriceps) missed another practice on Thursday. Interim head coach Antonio Pierce said on Wednesday that Jacobs is expected to be a game-time decision for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Denver Broncos this Sunday, but the 25-year-old will probably need to practice on Friday, at least on a limited basis, if he's going to be a realistic option to play in what is a meaningless game between division rivals. Jacobs hasn't played in the last three games due to his quad issue and would be a very volatile, high-priced DFS asset on top of it. Zamir White has been excellent as the Raiders' starting RB the last three games, averaging 4.83 yards per carry for 285 yards and a touchdown on 59 attempts while catching eight passes for 51 yards. White is the better DFS value against a vulnerable Broncos rush defense if Jacobs is inactive.
