6 years agoAtlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker said that starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez will start Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Dodgers. The veteran Sanchez was a nice surprise and a big part of the team's rotation all year, going 7-6 with a nice 2.83 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 135 strikeouts in 136 2/3 innings over 25 games (24 starts). The right-hander faced Los Angeles twice during the year, allowing 10 hits and six earned runs while walking four and striking out nine in 11 2/3 innings in a win and a loss. He faced them on the road on June 9 in the win and at home on July 26 in the loss.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
