5 years agoWashington Nationals starter Anibal Sanchez allowed one run on five hits through seven innings of work during Sunday's 9-3 win over the Miami Marlins. He struck out five batters without issuing a walk. It was the first time all season that Sanchez allowed less than three runs in a start. The 36-year-old now owns a 1-3 record to go along with a 6.48 ERA, 1.72 WHIP, and 19/9 K/BB rate. His next projected start will come against the Boston Red Sox on the weekend, and he will need to impress again before fantasy managers can trust him.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
