Angels Reportedly "Showing Interest In" Mitch Haniger
2 years agoPer a tweet from MLB Network's Jon Morosi on Monday, the Los Angeles Angels are reportedly "showing interest in" outfielder Mitch Haniger. Morosi tweeted: "Sources: #Dodgers and #Angels showing interest in free agent OF Mitch Haniger. The #Rangers, as first reported by @Ken_Rosenthal, are also among the most active suitors for Haniger. Of note, Haniger has a career. 846 OPS at Angel Stadium. @MLBNetwork @MLB." Among the current outfield options on Los Angeles' 40-man roster include Mike Trout, Jo Adell, Mickey Moniak, Taylor Ward, and Jared Walsh. Haniger hit .246 in 247 plate appearances for the Seattle Mariners last season, while also logging a .308 on-base percentage and 11 home runs.
