Angels Designate Dillon Peters For Assignment
Dillon Peters was designated for assignment Wednesday, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com. This move comes after the team agreed to a contract with outfielder Adam Eaton. Peters hasn't appeared in a game with the Angels this season, spending all of 2021 in Triple-A. He hasn't performed well in 132 2/3 career innings in the majors over four seasons, either, posting a career 5.83 ERA, 16.7 K% and 9.9 BB%. If Peters latches on with another team, don't expect him to give fantasy managers any value.

Dillon Peters To Start On Wednesday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates pitcher Dillon Peters will make the start against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. Bryse Wilson was expected to make the start, but has been scratched for an unknown reason. That being said, Peters will start, but his max pitch count this season is 43 pitches. He likely won't go deep into this game, but could see more starts, assuming this goes well. Peters has allowed one hit with eight strikeouts in 10 1/3 scoreless innings this season.
