Andy Dalton Stays Composed In Loss
2 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Andy Dalton was consistent in Monday night's loss to Tampa Bay but ultimately was unable to make plays when it came down to the wire. Dalton went 20-for-28 through the air and passed for 229 yards. He added a touchdown on a 30-yard strike to Taysom Hill and did not turn the ball over. Dalton was sacked twice in the outing. New Orleans led 16-3 with 8:02 remaining in the game, but could not convert down the stretch and ended up losing the game. Dalton failed to convert touchdowns on two deep red zone drives, both resulting in Wil Lutz chipshot field goals. The Saints head into a Week 14 bye and will return to action in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons.
