Andy Dalton Ruled Out In Week 16
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton (groin) has been ruled out for the Week 16 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Head coach Matt Nagy announced on Friday that Nick Foles will get the start under center, and rookie Justin Fields (ankle) is questionable to be the backup on Sunday. Dalton just returned from the COVID-19 list, but he won't be available for the Bears this weekend. If Fields is unable to serve as the backup to Foles against the Seahawks, the Bears will likely elevate Ryan Willis from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game. Chicago's lackluster offense gets even worse in Week 16, and the Seahawks defense could be attractive as a deep-league streamer with Fields no longer starting.
